Overview

SkyX members can share their travel rewards by gifting or transferring miles to friends, family, or other SkyX members. This feature allows flexibility in using your miles, making it easier to combine rewards for future flights, upgrades, or partner services.

Eligibility

  • Both the sender and recipient must be active SkyX members.

  • Membership accounts must be in good standing at the time of transfer.

  • Minimum miles balance is required in the sender’s account (varies depending on transfer rules).

How to Transfer or Gift Miles

You can request a transfer in one of the following ways:

  1. Online (Website or Mobile App)

    • Log in to your SkyX account.

    • Navigate to My SkyX → Miles Management → Gift/Transfer Miles.

    • Enter the recipient’s SkyX membership number.

    • Select the number of miles you wish to transfer.

    • Review any applicable fees or conditions.

    • Confirm the transfer request.

  2. Via SkyX Chatbot (In-App or Portal)

    • Open the SkyX mobile app or member portal.

    • Start a chat with our virtual assistant.

    • Select “Gift or Transfer Miles” from the menu.

    • Provide the recipient’s membership number and transfer details.

    • The chatbot will confirm your request and process it on your behalf.

Processing Time

  • Transfers are typically processed within 1 business day.

  • The transaction will appear in both the sender’s and recipient’s membership activity history once complete.

Important Notes

  • Transferred miles are non-refundable and cannot be reversed once completed.

  • A minimum and maximum limit may apply per transfer (e.g., [X,000 minimum] / [Y,000 maximum] miles).

  • Transaction fees may apply depending on the number of miles transferred.

  • Gifted miles do not count toward tier qualification or status upgrades.
